Tech Trails tracks summer plans of Caltech basketball players -- from SURFs (summer undergraduate research fellowships) to related work in the fields of math, science, and engineering.
Mike Paluchniak excels on and off the court. Besides being a key cog in the basketball program, he is involved in various opportunities in business, economics, and management.
This summer, he is taking his talents to New York City where he will be working as an analyst intern for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
His focus: risk management and tech development.
Last summer, he interned at Caltech's Investment office. And the summer prior to his freshman year, he managed political science data with Professor R.M. Alvarez.
